Parental (Family) Withdrawal & CSA

As further demonstration of what’s been predicted, my own mother had reacted to my eventual Phone call with them that “(I) had chosen to never speak with them”. Even though I tried to correct her, by reminding them of what I had previously said before my moving into my new Residence: She had earlier agreed that “after I finish a large amount of moving, I’d be able to speak with her”. As further proof that she no longer uses their earlier ‘promise’ to “always use a written diary, as a 3rd-eye POV for (my) history”, I again tried to remind her of this – to which she reacted in denial/tension. It appeared that SKR was (again) ‘pulling the strings’ of EMB’s actions. I even had a chance to discuss `with them that I’d been told by my Legal Staff that I did have oppurtunity to ask NVS & others to vacate my Court Case with SKR. EMB seemed to ignore this. Remainder of call was EMB pausing, not answering & disagreeing. Unsurprisingly, EMB had ended this Phone call – after stating that I didn’t call her anymore!?

Of concern was that EMB recalled portions of other CSA Survivors’ history, yet seemed to remain in complete denial that I had endured any of mine – despite being under their ‘parental adult’ care for all of it.

CSA and gradual unearthing!

It is with bewilderment that some Survivors of CSA bring forward their stories and certain ‘foundations of society’ do not show any compassion, only displaying defence. Throughout the current Royal Commission in Australia, I have experienced challenges and legal threats, for somethings included in my own “Coping Mechanisms”.

From the growing multitude of evidence, witnesses and cited Institutions – Australia is truly `leading the way’ amongst our world’s countries. This is truly a much-needed change, away from a long-term culture of “Hidden Secrets”.

Bravehearts, input and other Reports

Bravehearts’ key purpose is to educate, empower and protect Australian kids from sexual assault.

On meeting with Hetty Johnston (Bravehearts CEO) at the Youth, Technology and Virtual Communities Convention (29 Apr – 1 May, 2013) – the planned RC Report was discussed in more detail. Having received numerous Statements, PMSA correspondence, Notices of other Reports and feedback from current Employees – even the Report of this site covers a large footprint of CSA.

Allegations of abuse at BBC (PMSA Update)

Image

Thank you for your communication of 11th March to Brisbane Boys’ College, advising of your intention “to notify all parties of BBC’s families (past and present, ensuring 18+ ages) that lodgement of a Report is being formulated”.

In relation to your request that your message be distributed “amongst current and previous parents (or similar)”, it is not the practice of the college to distribute material on behalf of third parties.

By letter dated 22nd February last, in response to your initial approach to the college, I made you aware of the PMSA process which is followed in relation to notification by former students of alleged abuse at the college and invited you to meet with me to discuss your allegations. To date you have not responded to that invitation..

Yours sincerely,

Mrs J McPherson

Allegations of abuse at Brisbane Boys’ College (RCVD 25 Feb 13)

The lodgement of a claim by you with the Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse Royal Commission, citing Buchanan and Golding, is duly noted.

The PMSA is concerned to assist former students of its schools who believe that they have been injured as a consequence of events which occurred at their school, and is prepared to explore various avenues for assistance. It does this without any admission of legal responsibility.

Accordingly, should you care to avail yourself of the opportunity of discussing with me, as the PMSA’s Director, Protection From Harm, your time at Brisbane Boys’ College, I would be grateful if you would communicate that desire either by mail or email to the PMSA’s Corporate Office, as previously advised. A mutually convenient time and venue can then be arranged for a meeting.

Please be assured that all allegations are treated seriously, sensitively and confidentially.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs J McPherson
